As you may know from the gun thread I recently got my .223 setup. Only zero’d at 50 yards at the minute. Need to get zero’d at 100, then work out my drops for the BT.
I think I’d have to trap and move somewhere else and then use the rim fire.
morning pee from men and ladies are the stongest by the way
No, no, I get that believe me and I have shot, and will shoot foxes, it just amuses me when I hear a reason like disease being used by what is arguably the worst disease ever to hit the planetDisease is only one reason. Wildlife managers of today are striving to keep everything in balance. Man cocked up due to the lack of understanding in the past. All we can do is learn from their mistakes and manage what we have. If foxes are left just to get on with it with no intervention from man, there will be little wildlife left. As I have said foxes have no natural predators, so now we have to take that role on.
Doesn’t that make you fart? I can clear a room, don’t know about a garden though!Especially after a good feed of asparagus i would think.

This is neither a sensible or in any way contributory comment. There are some on here who deal with this problem almost daily. It is not "their land" as much as it is "ours". Frankly, this is a typical Red Top view.
What are you going to tell the mother of the child who gets bitten in the face? The fox was there first?
Unfortunately we, the human race, have colonised quite a bit of land, it is ours as much as it belongs to any other animal, we are animals, right? So we need to be pragmatic about this and deal with it. Preferably in a way that satisfies everyone, though this is not always possible. Leaving Foxes alone to roam in an urban environment is not kind to the Fox in any way, not in the long term.
Personally, I do not know what the answer is because, taking the view you are postulating means we need to kill ourselves off (and actually it looks like we might be doing just that) and give all the land back to the animals. But if that happens and you give the land back to the Fox, along will come a bigger bite-ier animal and eat the Foxes.
It is called evolution.
the same evolution of an alien wiping us out due to being colanised
its different when a dog bites a human but yet we domesticated the animal
we are moving more and more into the country side and forcing or relocating animals into another habbitat just for our own greed
you might not like it same as the farmers argument is it kills our animals our money ... all for profit all for feeding our human kind and yet the poor fox and other animals suffer for it
yes i know the arguments of the farmers i also know of the farmers dont like badgers moles and other animals
strange we have less bees nowadays all because we moved them killed them off with pesticides and not just them other animals
not sensible comment but find another solution to the problem but if many dont like it sorry move out or tollerate other animals
or are we the people to destroy that rare bat just to have that shed again to use
Got to be male urine only, don't know why, probably got something to do with hormonesmorning pee from men and ladies are the stongest by the way

moved in to feed on man's waste.
.
Furthermore, get out into the countryside and deal with a few day to day "problems" that farmers face.

we wanted some for our farm to protect the sheep.......
Have u seen the stupid cost of Alpacas etc.....and u can only buy sterelised animals........

@Northwest is very much one of the last people on here you should be mentioning how to deal with being bitten to, I won’t go any further than that as it’s his story to tell if he wishes. He also knows my stance on foxes, I love them, think they’re beautiful animals and I won’t shoot one until it’s started to become a problem, I’d sooner sit an watch them play than pull the trigger, but the unfortunate part of countryside life is that sometimes these things must be done.
My wife and I breed alpacas. They dont need to be expensive, only the designer show animals are daft money. As herds increase they are actually reducing in price, supply and demand I guess. Not all alpacas will face down a fox, but most will make the alarm call, enough to scare a fox. I dont know where the steralized animals thing comes from, as youd never steralize a female, and males shouldnt be castrated until about 18 months old.
You also need 3 as they are herd animals, two can survive but if one dies the other will suffer badly, and two whole males would fight quite badly.

Why do you breed Alpacas.....is it their wool?
