, not forgeting several copper/hide mallets from back in the day when I was an armature winder, still usefull though.

Nah, you're safe - we don't [generally] hold grudges here.
The stuff on the underside of floor either side of the chassis rails there (looks pukey yellow/gone off brown colour) is a coating added from factory by Ford. Is there a way to replicate this?
reason for asking us I want to replace some that’s been removed.
worst case I’ll remove it all but I still need to replace it with something just as thick to help noise suppression and protect the underside.

also would you underseal before or after paint?
