Do they have 'China' on them somewhere? Everything Blue-Point I have bought recently has and the quality is not what Blue-Point used to be like. I would put the newer stuff I have on par with Halfords and aimed primarily at the home user.
Probably I didn't look to hard , most Snapon stuff is made in China now too . I wouldn't be too down on Halfords gear , the tip of the range stuff rates out better than some of what facom , Snapon , Wera etc produce . My Halfords spanners I think now outnumber what's left of the snapon and facom stuff . The company gets our torque bars calibrated every year , the only one over the last 5 years to never need to be adjusted , to be spot on the money every time it's been put on the rack and tested by the man ,out of 10+ bars of all different makes and styles from little bitty ones to the 2000lb breakback .it's been the Halfords one that's absolutely spot on accurate after a years use hahaha . A good tool is a good tool no matter what name they stamp on it .
