Done and working and still really happy I got my finger out and did it, the ram is still weeping slightly but it only does it on the return so I just put hvb45 in every blue moon. I lift it to just past the height, lower it down to the next hole and walk round and make sure all the claw hooks have engaged properly with the towers so the hooks are carrying the weight rather than the ram (as it was designed to work I think) for peace of mind. I think that's a good habit even if it didnt have a small hydraulic leak. It has the parachute rods installed now and if you open the descent valve too far so it starts to fall too quick they trigger the safety brake mechanism also.
Heaviest thing I've picked up so far was a coachbuilt motorhome, still a 3.5t one but right on the plated limit. And I've had a 3 panel Sprinter on it too with a bit of overhang either end. Its handy as a work table to bring things up to comfortable height too. I have a adjustable spreader beam for the rolling bridge jack so I can pick stuff up by the jacking points both sides at once, and some smaller & tall stands that work off the runways if I need wheels clear. And lots of oak cribbing and blocks of course.
I fitted some outdoor led tube fittings to the inside vertical face of the runways for extra light underneath & a made a table from a old solid steel machine cabinet that fits lengthways between the runways and put heavy castors and a steel plate top on it, and I use that to lower out engine/boxes complete. Just lower the ramp until the weight is on the table, remove all the mounts and lift the vehicle up off it then wheel the motor/box away to where the forklift can scoop it up without any drama. Bliss... The pic is it acting as a work table for a Defender undergoing chassis work.

I have a 2 post, that however is still sat on a pallet in the corner of the workshop that I put in steel into the middle bay to accomodate it but I have to get around listing it to getting rid of that because I think the 4 post + rolling bridge setup does everything I need of it. If I was a garage and only worked on servicing and normal cars, the 2post would probably be a better choice, but I'm a tinkerer with a eccelectic mix of things to work on.

TL,DR; its awesome, just do it. You'll wonder why you didnt earlier when you do.
