I might pay the guy who worked on my Escort to spend some time with me and show me what he would do when the Inner Sill turns up.way way back i said you need a clean shiny edge to work to ,,, I will repeat that .
you need to practice on the bench until you know what happens when you pull the trigger and learning on the car will only depress you , the repairs will be poor and in two weeks time you will be cutting them out again .....
basically you need to spend a day helping someone who does this a fair bit , and from there you will leap forwards , the way your trying to do it is very very hard . offer your time in exchange for experience ,,, buy lunch , take beer and or buns , sweep the floor ,,,, there will be someone local who can show you ... if you were local to me , I would give you a day .
I know its been mentioned about cleaning back So I did that within the area I'd cut out which seemed solid and clean. I'm thinking at this point heres what were heading for...
I was taking inspiration from this guy (same youtube name as mine here) , it seemed more manageable than doing a whole floor.
Also the same as this bloke here. Maybe this car isnt as bad as mine though.
