Hi,
I'm making a new rear access door for my garage, using 40mm square 3mm thick box section framework, with a 2mm steel sheet, rather than wood exterior face.
I have a couple of 5 lever keyed alike Mortice Deadlocks to use and just wandering if there is anything special e.g. extra reinforcment, needed after piercing the box section for the lock.
No problem with piercing and machining the rebates, as I have access to the milling machines that I use at work.
Nick.
