Fitting A Magnetic Lamp Inside My Blast Cabinet

Hi all,
I'm putting a magnetic lamp inside my blasting cabinet. Using digital calipers the lamps cable has an external diameter of 6mm.
The cabinet walls are made from 16 gauge steel -USA specification. I'm wondering which type, size of grommet I should use? I see there are tabular long grommets etc. Also what would be the correct size metal drilling bit to use to drill a hole in the wall of the cabinet for the matching size grommet?
An Ebay link whatever to identify the correct type of grommet would be much appreciated.

fftopic:Not sure what you blast in your cabinet or how course the grit is, but if it is steel you will probably find the light will be obscured with particles form the air sticking to the magnet and building up across the surface till the light is covered.

As far as the drilling i would probably use a stepped drill for a grommet.
But have you considered a 20mm hole with either a stepped drill or hole saw and a Cable Gland. You can then tighten it onto the cable to get a good seal so no dust will escape.

I'd go for an M16 or PG9 gland as an M20 may not tighten fully on a 6mm dia cable.

The cabinet has a matched dust extraction set up. I'll be using SC 120 The cabinet lighting is in the top middle and can't be repositioned. I need the lighting to be in the top left corner.This is the magnetic lamp I bought Ebay UK item number 361553763882
Uploaded a couple of shots of it, it has a rubber cover over the magnet.

I try my set up with the magnetic lamp. If dust is a problem settling on the bulb I'll think again if can't adapt the magnetic lamp to attach to cabinet without the magnet. Does anyone know off the top of their heads, where I could get an adjustable bolt on light fitting that is likely to do the job?

that looks well dodgy in a blast cabinet anything inside needs to be enclosed. mine has a laminated glass roof in and 4 no 28watt 2d florescent tubes in

i was thinking of the flat magnetic led lights, the lights is far away from the magnet to be a problem of attraction ferrous dust, but i wouldn't expect a bulb to last very long at all.
Shot blasting light is normally external behind glass or plastic both may have to be changed from time to time.

EDIT :- just seen glass so that should be with the magnet.

I have a Cyclone SL3730 pass through blasting cabinet see attached. I'm only using the cabinet to etch glass no metal car parts etc the lamp will be positioned close to top left corner.
