It’s a 25 year old machine mate with no spares available for it. . I set a budget I was willing to risk on it and the buyer was happy to meet with in that budget. It could be goosed tomorrow or it could go another 20 years.

I bought the smaller 170A TIG to the one you have a seems to weld ally no problem ( im a novice too )

This is what this Forum is about and why I like it, helping others out, Good to see people like Richard helping out our less experienced Members, there is another place on the net I do not even look at any more because of the attitude of some of it's members (not a lot but just enough to spoil it).go back to the start of the thread and take a look at the pics posted up.
The man took to this very well.
Now look at his achievements which if he keeps up with the practice are only going to get neater and neater.
We struggled with the fillet joint the most but 50% of them were coming out looking decent.
