Firewood suppliers

How bloody hard can it be to get firewood? Colder days have snuck up on us and we need some firewood, but ok and behold there are no firewood sellers anywhere near that are open on a Saturday, absolute pain in the hoop!

There are aways the log nets on the garage forecourts @ about 50p a log

I’m feeling smug, I phoned local log man on Thursday and he delivered a trailer load off at lunch time, mind you I haven’t swept the chimney yet so no fire today,

The firewood market has gone mental.

People are ordering 10x's their normal winter amount already.

I haven't dared look at the prices this year, I expect they've gone through the roof along with everything else. Dry stored seasoned hardwood was £240 a ton this time last year. I'm scrounging all the dead trees I can lay my hands on at the moment.

Just finished doing mine for the winter.

The lengths have been down for a year already & in the IBC's it will dry in time, but yes I am a bit late this year.

Just had 8=dumpy bags delivered , hopefully with what I already have stored should last me .......

£55 a bag up £5 from the spring
Was £200 a tonne collected last year . But it's free delivery over 4 bags .

im 2 years in advance due to not burning much wood in my homemade stove so im fine

but if i want nice logs i just slot in the beams or juicy logs for a long burn
