Okay that sounds brilliant , I will have a good look at those three and see which one takes my fancy.If you get it just right, you can more or less push the rod into the joint with steady pressure. The arc burns up inside the flux and everything runs nice.
That first one looks good. But only cut and etch will tell you if you've got full penetration.
There are a lot of decent stick welding inverters out there these days. Even midrange ones are pretty darn good.
For the best.... (and it's just opinion)
These below are the inverters, that to me, are at the top end of small stick welding. They all behave like a much bigger machine. They make stick welding sooo easy. They're all rolls royce machines. There are others, but these are the ones I've tried.

Of these three, I'd take the Fronius or Lorch.
Of those two, I'd buy the Lorch, all day every day.
