Hello all,
My project which I thought I'd share with you all is a Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC. I've owned the car for about a year and have just taken it off the road to start a restoration. I've so far stripped out the interior and have much of the out plastic bodykit to remove to commence with repairs.
The first photo I will show you is of rust in the rear nearside suspension turret. This is after a quick poke with a screwdriver and a grinder with wirebrush. I've since cut out a significant section and will be welding a plate in shortly. Won't be the easiest repair since 1) I'm not very experienced at this sort of thing and 2) It had corroded all the way to the backpanel which was spot welded on, I've therefore going to plug weld a new plate to the back panel and then tack weld onto the remains of the turret before completing the seam.
