Hi all,
Just got back from a long drive after a day at the British Rotorcraft Association Annual General Meeting, real laugh-a-minute (not!).
Had a couple of beers and a chinese, then thought I'd catch up with the forum...
Then I thought I read:
**edited quote from Sparkey** hmm, nothing smells better than some mig welder in the morning, at the point when your nose isn't quite used to it yet...lovely!
My granddads old workshop/garage, now my grandmothers garage, just your standard 50's fabricator/mechanic shop in the cellar. Reminds me off when I was a little boy running about there while my granddad repaired some lawn mover or something, he was already retired then so he had all the time in the world.
Gads this thread has been resurected from the mists of time! Dstealth, I thought no one else had ever heard of Molyslip! I agree with you though, it smells great when it gets warm.
The smell of solvent based antispatters burning off..... and the smell a lead or torch gives off when its being well overheated the sort you get just as the copper starts to break and the insulation burns away from the dinse!
Neither are the healthiest smells, but i love them!
