Wish I had access to oxy acetylene. I could straighten that bent shaft from the wick-fed bearing motor, too.

Years ago I wanted to get the flywheel off a big old Danarm chainsaw, similar problem, flywheel been on for years, stuck fast on a big taper.
Talking to an old boy who'd been in the forestry/coppicing trade all his life, he said put the stripped down chainsaw in the freezer overnight, then in the morning, pour a full kettle of boiling water over the flywheel, give the shaft a tap with a mallet and there's a good chance the flywheel will come off.
Much to my surprise he was right - it did.
Worth a try? It's cheap and there's nothing lost if it doesn't work.

Personally I'd go with the suggested emery/wet and dry and leave the fan on the shaft.

I always make sure to wrap the ends around my fingers and wear loose, baggy clothing when sanding on the lathe

I'm real careful using emery tape on the lathe I cover the bed up and carriage so that it doesn't get on the machine
