That could be the start of an eye in a tattoo.
And: Needs a mug for scale.
You need an nice little outside welding bench.
Depends if the job is pointing the patio flags. There's stuff all over itShould be great , every thing in plain sight loads of room and it's not snowing or raining![]()
Should be a catalyst tosort your garage out! Your getting a tad old fir hands and knees on concrete working
Not that it helps one bit but you are not alone. I can put something down, not move anywhere and still take minutes to find it again. Incredible and frustrating!Tbh I'm not happy with the latest cowl. Simply put the other side of the weld looks like a dog's dinner. I'm wondering about remaking it but lapping & bolting through as has was mentioned on the cowl thread. As in no welding.
I think it's more a feeling of I could have done it better if I was better set up.
I can't even find the M6 stainless nuts and bolts I need to put it together or my plastic profile gauge to get the shape of the pot rim to make the legs.
That's where I am with everything at the moment. I have most of what I need to do most jobs. I'm ending up buying stuff again like the mig wire as I can't find what I've already got.
Of course today rain will stop playing in terms of cutting more stainless sheet for the cowl legs.
To cap it all (pun intended), the scaffold on the house will likely come down before I can use it to gain access to fit the cowl.
Feels like I'm dwelling on the negatives all the time.
Another example, half a plan to lay some carpet tiles today, can't even find the two packs of Stanley blades I've seen but have moved/can't remember where.
Little things seem to take on a life of their own and grow.

That'll be the Borrowers, they're real. A family lives at my place too!Not that it helps one bit but you are not alone. I can put something down, not move anywhere and still take minutes to find it again. Incredible and frustrating!

House clearance and start again!Or even "hers and the tip" piles.
For sale section?I present a bag of trampoline springs and the pole clips that go with them. Citric acid bathed, rinsed and given a light coat of zinc something. Tip?

I can't work on the floor...does my knees and back in.Quite depressing working like this:

Do you have or are you likely to have a trampoline?
Skip.
Plan was to do it up and give to a neighbour's kids but think they have one now and are loaded anyway. Skip them all. Why are you keeping any of them? Sentimental reasons? Can't be arsed to get rid?Two trampolines actually. Oddly the 27 & 19 year olds don't use them much now.....
These clips and springs are off the original 10' one, all dismantled. The frame is here too if anyone wants it?Plan was to do it up and give to a neighbour's kids but think they have one now and are loaded anyway.
Then there's the 15/20' one. Still up, took a knock during a storm when a swinging garden chair took off and clouted it so a couple of poles are bent. The blue thing that covers the springs has disintegrated and been binned. Mainly I just mow around it now. Probably needs a new net and foam pole covers too.
