Busy day yesterday, Took My wife to hospital for an operation, on the way home stopped at my late friends house for another load of stuff, This workshop clearance may take quite a while as i have to clear the stuff from his place & sell it from my place, His widow just wants it gone & cant deal with lots of people picking through it which is understandable.
So my workshop looks worse than ever, like a bombsite of machines & tools.
I came home with a Clarke Bandsaw, Charnwood planer thicknesser, trend router table, Hegner fret saw & a CNC router plus a load of odd bits.
Bandsaw got moved on straight away, router table has gone into the boat shed. Try & find homes for the rest in next few days.
The CNC is intriguing, my mate was using it for headstock inlays on his guitars I tried its acompanying laptop last night but its dead with a broken RAM card. Must . Not . Get . Distracted.......
Wife is Ok but they kept her in overnight. Pick her up this morning.

Should have no bother selling the Hegner fret saw. They are the best there is and sell well.

Well as i now have two Fretsaws one has to go, I have had a Multico for some years & now the Hegner too, interestingly apart from the colour they are virtually identical & could almost have been made in the same factory, both well made, Only difference is the Multico uses pinned blades whereas the Hegner mounts blades in a clamp.
As i have a lot of Hegner type blades that is the one i will keep!

I have a hegner and it's a well made bit of engineering.
I really should sell it because it's rarely used now.

Im thinking that as i get older I dont want to be working on boats much more down the club, As i get more arthritic i cant abide the cold any more, A nice warm workshop is far more appealing & making smaller things like musical instruments doesnt take big timber or machines.
In my late friends workshop there are three of his guitars quite well advanced with all the parts to finish them off, be nice to get them done.
