I read the manual for the 2200 the other day, and it was quite enlightening... features available on the AC arc like half wave shape change and amplitude adjustment. No idea what it's like to weld with, but the tweakery available is as good if not better than any Fronius, Miller, Lincoln etc. More than any of us average Joes need, anywayHonestly, both amazing bits of kit! You won't go far wrong with either machine.. As @Munkul said, its worth considering the Bohler Uranos 2200 AC/DC as its another super high quality industrial grade AC/DC TIG with plenty of feautures, amazing weld quality and as its built by Selco (who Voestalpine Bohler now own) the build quality is immense. I can put you in touch with Joe Irvin, their demonstrator, and he'll gladly show it off to you if you're interested.
Not as good as the old onesI'd like to try a modern Miller dynasty, I do like the ewm most of what you need is on the front panel
I've been getting the wants lately for a miller dynasty 280/400, pity lorch or ewm don't offer a larger capacity machine that will run dual voltage
