Looks like there's a shortage of fuel in Boston, quite a few are asking who has any. Seems Tesco and Asda were empty yesterday afternoon - Not Confirmed.

It was the same up here yesterday, there was a large queue at the filling station, no doubt caused by the same people who still have a load of toilet roll they bought and hoarded in May 2020

Just filled up at ASDA in Arbroath, £1.63for diesel, petrol was £1.55 I think. Esso garage on the way out of town towards Montrose is usually about 4 or 5p/l cheaper but not been that way for a while but I heard Montrose is £1.70 or so.

Just found out our local Morrisons are out of fuel. But in Burntwood, someone sneezes and everyone panic buys. On Tuesday, I was in Burton and had to go to a few garages to get diesel. That was £1.71.9.

Which only shows, or used to, the most hazardous fuel they are transporting. Or even from a load or two before if they used the vapour recovery for petrol and are now carrying diesel.

Most tankers delivering in the UK carry mixed loads to minimise journeys - I remember accepting deliveries of unleaded, super unleaded and diesel from the same tanker in a previous life.

If the driver was playing by the rules, standing outside in winter to supervise used to take ages if they used the vapour recovery (as they should have) . . . sometimes there seemed to be fault with the system and it had to be vented to atmosphere . . . quicker delivery by coincidence . . .

I haven't been billed for my 600l of lpg delivered a few days back, am I paranoid to think they will wait until April, when the rate goes up so they can gouge me?

I have the metering slip, but there's no price on it, just the date, quantity and a bunch of technical details.

Are you still within your 2 year initial contract with Flogas and what did you sign up for? They usually give you a fixed price for the first 12 months and then something after that (capped, fixed or variable, with the latter currently being the worst!)
