I’m lucky that where I shop there are 2 fuel selling supermarkets a few hundred metres apart, so fuel prices are very competitive, yesterday was £1.53.9 for diesel, BP was £1.74.9, if ever I need to buy anything from a BP I get a similar feeling to having a tooth pulled out.

I used to work for BP, I live on a BP pension and own BP shares. But I refuse point blank to buy their over priced fuel, or oils.
It all comes out of the same refineries to a spec that complies to the British Standard.

It’s the same fuel from the same refineries, I add my own additives to supermarket diesel to make it as good at cleaning the fuel system and cylinder heads as any overpriced BP fuel.
I wouldn’t use cheap petrol on my 911 purely because it’s now got 10% bio fuel where it used to be 5% and I don’t think this will be a great thing in the long term.

This snake oil is at least as good and from the research I came across a few years ago better than the snake oil BP and Shell use in their premium grade fuels.
A cleaner engine and fuel/emissions system will always produce more mpg than a clogged up system.
Modern engines get very clogged up due to modern emissions systems, exhaust gas recirculation is a big problem especially with petrol engines with direct injection.

Went for the 20p/L regular unleaded tonight at £1.59 rather than super at £1.78. W J King at Farningham.

Apologised to the car that it wasn't getting it's usual Shell V-power. Did give it a shot of Redex when I got home.
