Educate me about SU HS2 / HS4 Carbs - Marina needs spares

The car made a 150 mile trip yesterday so the rebuilt carb works.
It’s drinking petrol and runs “ok” with rare burst of performance so something still needs work but it’s progress

1800 B series on a four speed box ? 27 to 30 mpg on a run at best.

Yep spec is right ... I've had the car several years but consumption on the last trip seems a lot worse than I remember it from past runs.
