I do feel that this product is aimed at those who don't necessarily own a tig welder.... as to buy a tig would be very expensive for all but the professionals.... it's also great for the more delicate jobs like repairing crack in castings etc. Horses for coarses I guess.... with everything having it's niche.
I am very encouraged by the positive feedback I have received though, with many people having not heard of it before.... so better marketing maybe?

it works fine. if the heat is disipating crush some fire bricks up or soft grey breeze blocks into small lumps and pack them round your job and that will retain the heat
