It may be pricey but it is a seriously good paint. Got that lovely roller texture and while magnolia got a certain dull as ditchwater name for itself as a seventies icon, it actually is a really nice colour!

Plaster repair, paint the ceiling, paint the walls, paint woodwork (skirting, panel door, built in shelves). This is a kitchen so you have to work around countertop, oven, oak cupboards. You suggest £100?

Dude, if you're ever anywhere near London, please come and paint my house. I'll give you double that rate happily. Even ten years ago, that's close to slave labour.

If you notice where I live, £100 per average room was the going rate over here 10 years ago, not including materials. I did painting & decorating for a few months when I was out of work but I charged by the hour, that way when you had hiccups like loose plaster, etc you were covered for the extra time. I enjoyed doing it but I had to give it up though due to a frozen shoulder!

A friend called into a Johnstones Trade Shop Saturday to buy paint & the shelves were mostly empty. Pro painters were there filling their vans up with enough stock to keep them going when we inevitably go into full lockdown too!
