    I don't know what the new guild one comes with,. it looks smaller, maybe 5" which would do or, if you are doing a curved car or a bike, you could go for smaller backing pad. I only have a big old makita rotary polisher so no experience of DA except air ones for sanding bodywork. I generally prefer the ones with the soft tapering edge but it's a matter of individual preference

    It's for old soft celly paint, a da is a better choice for the paint as well as for me. :-)

    Thanks will get some of the pads.

    Slims DA looks to be the same as Argos and Halfords version, just rebadged.

    Errrr, not claimed anything, i just said what I have? :dontknow: I've had it many years, it might even have preceded the Das et al offerings. Does me. ;)
