ThanksFather-in-Law just bought a pair of 1000mm ones, with a magnetic closer, from eBay for a pull out drawer in his Hilux, I’ll see if I can find out more.

Can anyone recommend a cheap 25amp 12v power supply?
it would be fine if you made it turn on/off as needed?
I wonder if I could switch it on and off cos the TV Up and down remote / switch?I have a few server power supplies I've used for stuff... and they're great, cost hundreds when new and now they're used and cheap (but just as good)... they'll give you out their rated amps all day long and never miss a beat.... but they're noisy... noisy as hell tbh... I wouldn't want to leave one running in the loft all day that's for sure :-o

Thanks for that it runs at 25 amp so this should be ideal just got one via your link for £9.45!Possibly, chinese though and I'm not sure how much headroom you've given yourself on the current. I've got one of these PSU's just short pins 1 and 4 out to trip it on and available from around a tenner on the bay. Its silent at the moment so not sure how loud it is when the fan kicks in but if you locate it up in the loft you most likely wont hear it anyway.

Not really my bag I am more of a clunk and bang man who can wire a plug.I'm sure with one of those programmable arduino thingies something could be rigged up, never played with one myself.
edit: maybe something like this? And then you could use a programmable universal remote to take place of the tv remote and the control mechanism one.
