Slightly off topic, but.
At a steam traction rally at the weekend, I saw a Routemaster bus for sale and the advert claimed that it could be driven on your car license (class B), as long as you only had 8 passengers.
I thought all this changed when DVLA took over PSV/HGV licensing in 79. I know before that you could drive PSV with passengers as long as they were not fare paying - did this many times with a friends RF single decker.
