You need a counterbore, but I'm not sure if you would get a 30mm one. (I'm sure you must be able to but not sure where or what they would cost?)Hi all, looking for a solution for counter sinking with 0 angle. I basically have some 20x150mm flat bars that are being used as wear plates, I want to drill a 30mm hole 10mm deep (or however deep to keep the bolt head flush) to sink an m14/16 bolt head into and still be able to get a socket in. Blacksmiths bits could work but I don't really want the angle they have as I would like to tighten the bolt onto a flat surface if you see what I mean.
unless you have a litany of them in it youd want something stronger than a 8.8 bolt in it anyways.Hi all, looking for a solution for counter sinking with 0 angle.
