Maybe I could claim for white finger also, coz after testing your theory, I have a tingling in the finger tips. I also have two holes one on either side of my head, maybe I will be able to claim for other thing too, coz when I put the drill back in to test depth, I can't hear on that side !!

Only last week I bought some anti vib gloves from aldi to try and cut down
the worst offender for me is 9" angle grinder a mate had bosche one, that I refused to use it made me feel bad, right up my arms.
also using wire cup wheel on a 9" grinder.
strange I can use a chain saw all day and not notice the effect.

i had a phonecall other day asking if ive worked in noisy enviroments and repetetive strain . yes im partialy deff and had surgery on my elbows right she said we can start a claim just one question whats that sir i - work for myself for -many years who do we claim off bt isnt-what it used to be and we got cut off

So the rationale is how can he be so sure that it's only his work related vibration that is the sole cause of the issue. Vibration is vibration no matter where it comes from. Coupled with his grossly exaggerated time of 30 seconds to drill a hole as per one of my earlier posts and failure to declare an underlying medical condition of CTS. How come his CTS is only affected by his work activity but not similar home activity. CTS does not know if the vibration is from work or home activity.

Also this individual has a NEBOSH Certificate, is the manager of dept and has been trained in conducting risk assessments etc. he realy doesn't have any foundations with this

it's not looking very good for him!

to give you a good idea here we used the 2kg hammer drills with breaks every 10-15 mins it did get to the stage where fingers was tingerly at that stage hence the break times 15 mins on 15 mins off whilst chiseling the concrete off the walls and we was doing it for 1 1/2 weeks
most power tools have a usage rating on them to lesson cts from people

theres no possible way for him to get cts from the usage of the drill by his usage as its not so prolonged probably less than 10 minutes to fit the stuff mentioned

if drilling 72 holes knackers your hands up. it's safe to say that the operator is of bad desing and or constuction and should be disposed of and removed from te gene pool.
