Surely the easiest way would be to run one extension (get a nice long one so it'll reach - you can always leave the stuff you don't use coiled up) and dasey chain adapters off the end.
Nails are too small for the fuse holder - you need to use a tip from a MIG! And water cooling will never work if you still have the insulation on the wires (I'd like to take this opportunity to point out the disclaimer at the bottom of the page.)That's OK as long as you put nails in the fuse-holders nearest to the consumer unit. You'd have to put the coiled up spare cable in a bucket of water to keep it cool though.

Nice bucket of oil will do, it's an insulator and the bare wire's would have to get really hot for it to burn properly!!!!Bloody 'ell mate - you'd better use a plastic bucket!
