hi all
i spotted an idea on here somewhere of using desiccant in a filter to dry air from a compressor.
thinking this was a fantastic idea I've obtained a flanged pipe and end caps and was planning on filling it with bags of desiccant I can get for next to nothing.
however a painter friend of mine has mentioned "is using silicate in your incoming air supply a good idea?"
he has a point as silicate causes all kinds of issues with paint as you know and i hadn't thought of that
is there anything else i can fill it with like the bagged desiccant that wont contaminate the air and effect the paint?
cheers
james
