A friend has a Chevy Blaser with a V6 in it which to be fair sounds like a V8. I thought about a 6BT but it's a lump which would need a fair amount of ancillary work (normally suspension), cooling, gearbox, wings, bulkhead etc. At least in this instance the Sandringham was a Stage 1 V8 originally before conversion so a 4.6 dropped straight in.
Sourced a Disco V8 flywheel and got a factory crank sensor working so no faffing with fitting trigger wheels etc.
