Im going to ring round galvanizers tomorrow.
one piecewould be so much easier. Cardiff galvanizers have offered £600 in two piecesincluding collection and delivery which seems ok
Doing it in two pieces? I have made large structures like this before.
This was bolted together then the bolts overwelded to look a bit like rivets
30x5mm strip in pairs bent by hand. Murder to do but very accurate.
how about SS coach bolts or dome headed allen head bolts to make a feature of them and use the whatcahmacallit nuts on the reverse side. Globe will be living mext to a wall so it will have a front side.
It also has to support a dragon weighing about 90kg on top of it
