Using a good independent ground for your meter back probe the grey wires on the switch with the power on and operating the switch to lift the window. If both grey wires have close to 12V on them it is a fault in the ground to the switch. If one has a very low voltage less than 9V it is a supply problem probably corrosion in a connector in the supply feed to the switch.
