That's the kind of thing, @OJCar. Not so sure about the cable colours though. From memory the lift motors use SK, SU (lhs) and SR, SK (rhs). The other engines of the same period as the 200TDi as AKN said. (V8 and MPi)

Left side of the page is the electric windows for your model.
Yup. That's wot I got. Wiring there for the (non existing) back doors plus a few more connectors - back window perhaps? - and a further smaller connector for something floating round in the centre console. On my 1990 3 Door

Wiring for the other three switches for the 5 door set up is present but not connected.
Where do I find the islator switch 101 and relay 102? That certainly sounds like the things I should be looking at.Looking at the diagram both drivers and rear door switch sets go back to the rear window relay 102 and there's a rear window isolator switch to look at too 101. If you have power to the relay and both sets of switches don't work I'd try swapping the front / rear window relays over to see if the rear one has failed.
But the connectors for the switches are fitted. I wonder why there would be a rear door relay but no front door relays. On a 3 door the rear door relay (102) and the three rear door window switches (99 100 101 ) are not fitted.
Ah, where do I find that then? I seem to remember an earlier reply said there was no relay for the windows. If there is then that would seem like an obvious thing to check. [goes back to reread the thread...]There is, item 103.
It is not normal to put relay in window circuit other than the ecu for one touch down.
The manual doesn't give any hints about where amongst the bevy of relays in the footwells relay 103 lives? Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's not my problem. This is a 200TDi Discovery, there aren't any ECUs.
Relay 103 will be in one of the footwells, you may well find that there is no relay in the socket, just jumper cables
This is along the line I was thinking when I made the original post. These relays 102 and 103 are really only power switches to limit the current that passes through the ignition switch. On your 3 door the rear relay will not be fitted bu an empty socket will be there just like you have the connections for the 3 rear window switches but no switches. Third switch is to isolate the rear door mounted window switches to prevent children (or adults behaving like children) from operating the windows inappropriately.I was thinking that the switch may switch a relay for the motor but it seems the relay is switched by the ignition key.
Have you tried removing a switch and applying a known good +12V and Earth to the Grey wires in the switch connector? You will probably have to try reversing them to see if the motor moves. If it does then the fault is either the switch or as OJCar says the earth connection. Not necessarily.
If the earth on switches 95 & 96 is bad you will get the same effect.
From memory the earth is on the rear of the console mounting bolts.
Thanks AKN. Good suggestion to try 12v at the switches. I'll check earths too.Sorry for misinformation I was speaking from more general experience. I’ll agree with the circuit diagram, however the fact that you have 12V approx at the switch when operating the window suggests the relay is ok. If you had much lower voltage then I would suspect it.

Ignore my ramblings, I had it in my head it was the rear windows that weren't workingOn a 3 door the rear door relay (102) and the three rear door window switches (99 100 101 ) are not fitted.
