Probably, to be honest. But I'll always second guess the cheap ones, Mitutoyo I'm more confident to trust first time, every time. That's also how I justify Fluke meters when Brymen would really be fine.Can you say the same for the Chinese ones?

Another vote for Mitutoyo, I have a couple of them and they have outlasted all the pretenders by decades. That said there is nothing wrong with cheapies for in the truck or yard workshop.
