Flat earthers & luddites rule and are hoping to send a rocket to the moon ( so long as the cow 's not there ) to collect a space ship load of green cheese.

All my maps are flat so it stands to reason... how much cheese do you want, I am happy to save you a couple of kilos

Get yourself on a MOOC or two that has Danny Kahneman and a few other world renowned deep thinkers giving inpiut to the MOOC's . They are world leading top drawer education that almost any one with a modicum of intelligence can learn from.

Learn from them how to sort the flychit out from the pepper & where you can go for reliable data and such things . You'll also learn how to look for the words behind the words so you can get a better understanding what's really been said . It's a lot to do with questioning everything and asking questions. For as we all know questions are where the answers are to be found . II you don't like the first few answers then ask better questions .
Ask over a larger more varied scope of people , don't just look at a narrow band of people with a narrow theme /outlook in their lives
Once you start to see the patterns of the quality replies move on with it.

Does that work on govt propaganda or only stuff that doesn't follow the 'official' line?

So, one bloke says it is round and you all believe him. Another bloke says it is flat and you all ridicule him...... This is why I don't postulate the myriad of ideas floating through my brain

Not sure if that's a serious question, but there was a strong flat earth movement until a couple of years ago. There's a few documentaries on them. Interesting watch. They do experiments to check and when the experiments show the earth is round they then look for what caused the experiments to give the wrong result. Who are they? Many are religious fundamentalists, others just incredibly stupid. My builder was a flat earther. The movement got absorbed by QAnon now.

And the GPS system would have to be in on the conspiracy. As would the aerospace industry and satellite tracking systems. This is one issue with conspiracies, your barometer for whether a fact is true or false becomes a case of whether that fact fits your view.

If im honest i dont see why we need digital ids, as it wont stop fraud thats for sure

I didnt mind the driving license to be able to drive or the passport to leave the country

where i do mind is where it is used for other things

a driving license or passport shouldnt be used by other agencys that buy it off dvla i didnt consent to this only consented for dvla to have these details and for the police to beable to check if i could drive or not

the same can be said for the passport we use it to travel abroad and to return back to the uk whilst if we lose the passport we can go elsewhere to get a pass as its recorded through the embassy

ive got no idea to be honest never been abroad and no interest to do so

now i know i didnt consent to passing my contact details to third partys from the dvla
the dvla is selling my details to third partys
many of us know this when we got a parking fine for parking on private land

now if we look at council tax where you can be traced and jailed for non payment this would be acceptable to trace the user via the d license

however they have used the same regs to trace owner of the vehicle which in its own right is against the policy they gained details by false pretences from the dvla

council tax and parking fines are seperate

the same can be said for companys running council land parking ( third partys )

the driving license has now become a tracking device as the license must be addressed

i missed this to do with dvla and selling your details to third partys ( parking fines and private land parking )

I was watching a talk about AI on utube...apparently if you speak to an AI for 3 seconds it can now mimic your voice.

Latest scam is to use a voice mimic to fool friends/relatives...when will it end!
