You need to make a new centre for it.

The problem is the centre post on the cross slide looks like it's one piece. The diameter is far bigger than the Dickson. If I tried boring out the Dickson that big there would be nothing left of it.
How do other people manage? There must have been 2 different topslides for this lathe gggrrr.
Looks like I am stuck with the 4 way and messing around with shims for the centre height.

I'd have it off or mid it myselfColchester student had a similar design. Some people cut them off. Drill tap a new post in to suit the dickson
I bought a nice Dickson QCTP and tool holders a while ago.
It is the right size for my Colchester Triumph. They were available as an option.
Just removed the 4 way.
No way is it going to fit. Look at the size of the centre post.
