well i rung the local hallfords this morning and they said they will have them back in on wednesday so have to wait till then

Just been to collect mine Its alot heavier than I imagined. Garage will be freezing so may not get to set it up this evening (currently at work ).
Was going to get it saturday but Snow interrupted play.

We bought a 'professional' socket set just before christmas from Halfrauds - on a job, forgot some stuff, needed it there and then. Lado used the 19mm socket to tighten up a few fixings - after the third one he managed to split the socket apart - it suddenly went, meaning he punched the side of a beam with his hand when it all gave way. Not happy. The socket looked to be made of monkey metal.

Useless.

First thing we teach apprentices to push spanners/ratchet with an open hand limits the pain,,,,,haven't had any problems with halfords pro (yet),,i'm disapointed halfords gaurantee doesn't include rotating parts ie ratchets....i haven't had a problem with silverline kit i have either,18v battery drill,scriber,da sander,and hd stilson,i may be in a minority

Bought two of the offer toolboxes (one each for me and younger son) and they fulfilled the intended function of getting some tools and odds-and-ends sorted out and tidy.
Sure they don't have ball bearing drawer runners but they'll do OK.
