i have a couple of dewalt dab radios . 99 percent of time run ok..sometimes in peoples houses it goes off and on depending where its put . .my pug van radio is 100 percent and never looses the stations
We have a Pure Dab radio in the kitchen last year it suddenly didnt work anymore, Turned out it needed an upgrade to Dab +, It took me at least an hour, you need to input the radios serial number into the makers website & download the software update, It wasnt easy but somehow i managed it.
I have several old Hackers, A Herald from 1966 & a recently acquired nice condition but dead Hacker Sovereign, Its gone to the repairers for overhaul & fix. The Hackers are superb build & sound quality. The Sovereign 2 has LW, MW & VHF (FM). As Radio Caroline is on 648mw happy days. The radio also has a gram input so you can plug a guitar into it & use as an amplificator! The Sovereign will live next to the Pure Dab.
As for sound quality i find the Hackers on Mw just as good if not better than the Dab which squeals horribly when the pressure is high.
