Thats extremely nice of you but shipping costs would almost offset the benefits. I do actually have a number of hole saws myself but was thinking a nice new bimetal one might cut quicker.I have a rook of starret arbours mate and i might even have the size you want in the hole saw too....ide be prepared to lend them iff you could send them back in one piece...plenty of coolant and real slow on the speed.
Ok mate the offer stands anyway.Thats extremely nice of you but shipping costs would almost offset the benefits. I do actually have a number of hole saws myself but was thinking a nice new bimetal one might cut quicker.
I would be uncomfortable using someone else's tools to be honest.....just my upbringing I guess! Thanks anyway

Typing on a phone/tablet?Hole cutter.
I now have a plasma but I will try a hole saw anyway as it might be as easy for the round holes. You need to try things to get a feel I guess.I cut 300 off 17mm holes with a hole saw yesterday through 12mm steel (boring work) 70mm through 5mm once a no brainer. Just go real easy at the start or it will grab and likely break teeth off the cutter. I found cutting lube saved the tooth wear but slowed the cut due to swarf clogging, 5mm and you will be through it before things get too hot
