I've found aluminium eats the normal (I'm using Bosch Inox) ones far quicker. For a quick one off small cut though it's not worth changing disc!
I mostly use Tyrolit on the 9" and they are fine, on the 115mm and 125mm grinders I used to use Tyrolit but recently I have tried Dronco Attack and like them a lot. I always use Inox discs anyway as all I cut is Alu or stainless. The Alu specific ones I used (Wurth) lasted fractionally longer but it was just fractionally.
