there filled to about 100 psi when fullThere's not that much pressure in them, it's a liquefied gas not like gas under pressure unless they explode due to a spark
there must have been some liquid propane left in It and when you emptied it, it evaporated into gasHow do you explain my post above, that bottle was filled with a hose, and emptied out upside down. I can't explain how there was gas left in it, but there was.

is this still a safe discussion?
I've got access to a large metal cutting Band-saw. So I have cut the tops from 4 very old and scrap 13kg propane cylinders. 1 is to become the body for my propane fuelled forge, another is to become the body for my propane and waste oil fuelled metal smelting and glass melting furnace, and I have yet to decide what to do with the remaining 2.............. I am open to suggestions.]
"Old and scrap" nice try but cuts no ice with the magistrate.
8mm to be precise! I made a very nice burner out of one a while back. There's also a lot of stray BOC full size (W ?) cylinders about, ive never found any idea what to do with one, they must be at least a quarter of an inch thick going by the weight.
so thats up to them if they do anything about it not calorNo, but they still belong to the supplier!
