Cuprinol, creosote, or ? For post/timber protection

Just bought

Got some posts soaking tonight ,there already pressure treated but seeing as that's not so good theses days there getting a soak in a cut off 25 litre drum ex milking parlour cleaner , I scrounged off a farmer . Just bought another 25 litre drum today ,surprised how much they soak up in a few days timber is really dry tho £51 inc vat from a agri supplier locally . Not sure how that compares to online creosote sales ?

You can get little bottles of it sold under the "Marmite" brand...

I expect marmite tastes pretty much like creosote definatly smells like it

ive been getting it for 25 quid a drum but it was supposed to be 30 quid

It doesn't matter, thanks though. I just thought it may have been local to us for pick-up. I will probs mail order some 25l seems to be £50-£60 delivered.
I've been using Creocote and old engine oil mixed 50/50. It only lasts a couple of yrs. Maybe creosote/engine oil will last me another year or so.
