My normal suppliers are useless so I’ve been using brundles a lot. They’re useless too but they’re online prices are good for quoting jobs, and stuff normally turns up next day for £10 delivery.Depends how big the sheet is Steel prices are on the rise again, £40/T going on structural next week.
Ring a supplier and get an up to date quote.
Recently priced some 7m x 1.5m x 30mm thick plates for a job, a cool 30K
Ain’t got many options down here in the south.Kloeckner will buy it in from a plate supplier, add their mark up and have your pants down. You would be better speaking to plate suppliers direct. M Britain, John Taintons etc etc. Nearer you get to the company thats making/decoiling it the cheaper it is.
Brundles are expensive.
Ouch!just checked... Sheet Corten S355J2WP 1250x2500x3 is quoting at £219+vat near me
That’s what I was after it for. Doesn’t make my £150 look too bad!I’ll have a ring round Monday. Just some decorative projects I want it for
I agree, but the location is right up my street! Not my cup of tea but an interesting design
