Read the torque guides and recomerecom drilling capacity for the cordless stuff its over double of most core drills
Also battery angle grinders are now on par with corded
My cordless makita grinder doesn't bog out atall
The only reasons now for cords is sustained use noone is investing in cordless technology so its lagging behind now cordless is far further ahead technology wise

The issue with marketing figures is how they all get them unfortunately.
If there was industry standards for measuring torque etc then the playing field would be even but they all have their own way of getting high Nm and it’s difficult to know who’s accurate in terms of real world use.
I love Makita kit but I have to admit they can be a bit optimistic in the marketing. Based on personal comparisons of two high end Makita and dewalt drills recently.

They all have there own way of extracting valuable data.
To give an example. I needed a 1/2 inch cordless impy for work.
Tried snap on Milwaukee Mac etc. The one that actually seemed to be what it claimed was the dewalt 899.
It’s not a well used brand name in a vehicle workshop but since I got it, it has embarrassed the snap off milwookie brigade.
I CAN remove remove big nuts and bolts with it.
If I remember rightly on paper it didn’t have the power of the others. In reality it was better and not just by a slim margin.

So would you happily recommend the cut50 for metal under 10mm as was looking at 1 of these myself but thought for the price it wouldn't cut anything over like 2/3mm ?

would i recommend one to someone who will casualy use one nope grinders good enough as you have to consider also getting an air compressor

in my case it was yes as im still messing around with metal ive cut box section with it 3mm steel plate and 5mm steel plate angle iron
can i use it on a car yes but still need a grinder in places
