Had my plasma a few years now but always ran it on a 13A plug and never cut anything thicker than 5mm.
I needed to cut some 10mm plate today so finally got round to putting a 32A plug on it (there's a 20A fuse in the back of the unit) and was pleasantly surprised at the results.
The first two pics are before removing the slag:
And this is after removing the slag (I just grab the crud in the vice and push the metal over and it tends to come away in a oner):
It's not exactly micrometer perfect but good enough for my needs and far less messy than using a cutting disk (and I'd probably have gone through half a box of them...).
So, if anyone is interested in an ebay Cut50 and is wondering what its maximum capacity is, I'd say it's fine up to 10mm if taken slowy. Settings were 50A and 65PSI
