Corded concrete breaker/jack hammer or one of them hydraulic breaker packs?

A sthil saw is a very useful addition when breaking out concrete….cut crack lines and break away.

I'd hire a beaver and hydraulic breaker. Way better than any electric we've used.
Its maybe actually more cost effective to get a minidigger and pecker...

all you will do is get the tool stuck and wont get it out

Make sure you have at least two chisels to fit whatever you get. At least you stand a chance of getting the first bit back if you can work around it

Look after your hands. A lot of years ago I hired a girt big electric breaker to take down a surface air raid shelter, weighed about 40 to 50kG at a guess. if there is a chance of breaking through a void then make sure you have good footing as the drill takes a lot of stopping

I woke up the next morning with hands fixed as claws. I couldn't flex my fingers at all. I had to get back on with the breaker to get them loose

At 15kg you are trying to control 3/4 bag of cement

You youngsters! A proper bag of cement weighed 1cwt or 50Kg in new money. Of course, back then, that was a one man lift

Well it got used today, was initially impressed then disappointed, but that was me not knowing what I was doing ie it happily hammers solid concrete but anything wobbly/loose is a no go, and it did a damned fine job, found the slab had 1/4 inch rebar mesh in it, the jack hammer did cut through some of it, but bounced on the rest so I need some bolt croppers.
It would appear it likes a drop of oil as it leaks a bit from the chisel holder, blurb says this is normaL so keep on hammering.

Slight update, I had to buy a smaller breaker as using that big bugger sideways was almost mission impossible.
Have to say smaller machine is actually quite good, I might have been able to get away with just the one, but I have around 10 odd feet of 2 foot square concrete to break up and I rekcon the bigger machine will be the kiddy.

That looks identical to the Titan units - great value for the money, but you absolutely would not want to be using one all day every day.
