the larger the pulley on theYea but I would not know where to start with something like that - im not maths or mechanically minded !
what it amounts to is if u had a motor running at 1400rpm and a 4inch pulley on it and a 8 inch on the final drive it would run at 700 rpm reducing the speed and giving more torque so in efect ..the smaller the pulley on motor and larger pulley on final drive will reduce the load on the motor as it wont have to work as hard due to the lower gearing . just the same as a carYea but I would not know where to start with something like that - im not maths or mechanically minded !

Possible do you have a 3 phase supply or are you planning on running it from a rotary phase converter?Hi can anyone tell me how to wire the above motor for my scissor lift and what the controls do thanks in advance
