condensation in loft shoud I be worried

The mrs noticed a few wet boxes today when in the loft.
The backing felt is wet.
Is it just because it is so cold out at the moment.
Roof is apex tilled roof
Shoud I be worried.

The specifier should also be aware that the opening of felt laps on the property may adversely increase the wind uplift load on the tiles/slates or affect the driving rain resistance of the roofing felt, and therefore does not meet the requirements of the Code of Practice for Slating & Tiling BS 5534:2014, 6.2.1.1

It's worth trying to find how the moisture is getting there in the first place e.g. a leaky trapdoor seal, a drain riser/breather pipe with gaps lower down, bathroom ceiling vents, gaps around bathroom and other lighting (downlighters can be bad for this!).

Im just about to replace a roof [ circa 10k ] because of issues with felt overlap and rotting ,,, I wouldnt be messing with overlaps at all ,, the repairs can get very expensive.

Interested in the answer as I have exactly the same situation. Never seen it previously so I'm putting it down to prolonged cold spell, and the house being cooler than usual so not drying it out.

Is your loft currently vented at all?
It is most likely condensation, I went in one today that was dripping from the felt as its where the cold and warm air end up. As above if it's worth checking for leaks, daylight coming through, vents, extractor not vented properly ect as well!
Unfortunately I don't know a remedy.

its probably just because it is so cold up there due to the insuation, the boilier gas also lives up there
