Epoxy granite , is this what head stones are made from these days ? re the machinery bases I would cast with galv weld mesh inserts , not much strength added but if fractuctured will save collapse if fitted correctly , viscosity of resin when mixed is also something to consider re air entrapment , and fines as in furnace dust can be added to fill out voids , but do not over do as it will weaken , you should be able to get a pourable mix as with concrete when made with super plasticisers and water reducers .
I note nothing is mentioned re using dry sand and stone for the resin /granite ? surely as with good concrete mix this should be soaked (in resin?) to remove any air entrapment?
