What's the baleigh industrial machine in the back, I've often admired their stuff.

When you say your blade doesn't last long, how long? I tend to get well over 1000+ cuts out of a blade before it needs sharpening. That's a 14" blade so I would expect it to last longer then a 8", that will also depend on what your cutting as well.

Well its not something I count so it could have done many hundreds of cuts already. I had it mended (one tooth missing) and sharpened as I borrowed the saw and then I did a deal and swopped it for a heater. So its mine now lol I have had it since sharpening but could not give an accurate estimate

I recently bought an Evolution Rage 3s - 210mm for a job at work, and it's great on plastic trunking (which is what I've bought it for) and seems good on thin metal also. But as others have said, it's bloody noisy! Cheap though, £100 from Screwfix, and I'm probably going to splash another £60 on the stand and another £15 or so on the accessory kit. Worth buying for the job, as I've got another later in the month, but hoping for a proper bandsaw eventually.
