I’m not sure if it’s got the correct amount of gears of not.
All Of them have the notches internally on the bores. The one with the tooth missing has the notches internally as well. Only one has a key way. Those look like a bit of a mixture, apart from having a tooth missing the first one has no keyway whereas the one in the second pic does?
It’s much more Important that the lathe is in good nick. Almost gears can be found or made for a cost.Right I’m going to buy it and chance my luck. Worse case if it’s missing a gear I’ll attempt to 3D print one and just use it gingerly. It’s not like it’s under much load is it really. I just need to work out how to separate the base from the lathe.

It is to be honest. Needs a belt tensioner making but that’s easy enough and I think I’ll change the motor. The only real hinderance is the bed insert is missing. It’s much more Important that the lathe is in good nick. Almost gears can be found or made for a cost.
If you need pictures let me know as I got one kicking about. The lathe bed is bolted to the stand in three places. Bolt access is through the left hand control panel and right hand top draw
That maybe helpful. I’m hoping I can find one. The cross slides are in quite good condition. It’s not a bad machine but needs a good clean and strip to clean all the crap out of the slides etc.If you need pictures let me know as I got one kicking about.
Ok. I will take a few snaps tomorrow. Have you a picture of your machine. I have a student gap piece for the bed. That maybe helpful. I’m hoping I can find one. Looked at the lead screws and all looked really good, the ways were straight. Next to no movement in any of it. Roughly ten deg backlash in the handles which was consistant. That appears to be a changegear lathe with no gearbox so you'll need every size listed on that plate. Those splined gears tend to be expensive so buy wisely. Run the carriage up so the tool is about 2-3" from the chuck, note the location of the half nute then move the carriage away and inspect the leadscrew. The threads are likely to be very visibly worn at that spot.
I thought I took another from the other side but I didn’tOk. I will take a few snaps tomorrow. Have you a picture of your machine. I have a student gap piece for the bed.
The stand is the same. I presume the beds are but not 100 percent sure. My student gap piece is from a mk1 round head. But as pete said it doesn't have the screw cutting gearbox so a full set of gears will be needed. Unfortunately colchester casted the box as part of the bed.I thought I took another from the other side but I didn’t
